Silkscreen
Capitalism | click on a thumbnail to enlarge
For this project, I focused on a portrait of influence. Instead of silkscreening a traditional portrait of a person, I depicted capitalism. Layered on the sheet are logos of almost 70 of America's largest corporations that influence each person's day-to-day life without them even realizing it. After I finished silkscreening, I used a letterpress machine to indent the word capitalism onto the page to give the ghosted effect that capitalism influences it all.
